BTS's Dynamite Certifies as Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association

Group BTS (BTS)'s single "Dynamic" has been certified as "Double Platinum" by the U.S. Record Industry Association (RIAA).

The RIAA officially announced on its website on the 17th (local time) that it will grant "Double Platinum" certification, which is equivalent to more than 2 million units sold.

RIAA awards digital singles and albums by aggregating digital downloads, audio and video streaming, and sales volume.

Gold (more than 500,000 units), Platinum (more than 1 million units), Multi-Platinum (more than 2 million units), and Diamond (more than 10 million units).

BTS holds a total of six RIAA Platinum certification, the highest number of Korean singers, and "Multi Platinum" is the first time for "Dinamite."

Earlier in the digital single category, it was certified platinum with "Idol" in January last year and "Poetry for Small Things" in June, starting with "Mike Drop" in November 2018.

In the album category, the repackaged album "Love Yourself Gull Ancer" in January last year and the fourth full-length album "Map of the Soul: 7" in November were certified platinum.
