"Butter," Billboard's "Hot 100," number one in six weeks.

The group BTS (BTS) has been at the top of the U.S. Billboard main single chart "Hot 100" for six weeks.

Billboard reported in an article on its official website on the 6th (local time) that "Butter," which was released on May 21, maintained the top spot on the latest chart of "Hot 100" (July 10). 'Butter' has been number one on the chart for six weeks. Olivia Rodrigo's "Good For You" came in second and SZA's "Kiss Me More."

Citing MRC data, Billboard explained that "Butter" recorded 11 million streams and 153,600 downloads in the U.S. by the 1st of last month. Radio listeners increased by 2 percent to 28.3 million by Friday, the report said.

"Butter" has topped the Hot 100 chart for six weeks as well as "Digital Song Sales." It also ranked second on the "Billboard Global" chart (excluding the U.S.) and third on the "Billboard Global 200" including the U.S., which ranks streaming and sales volume in more than 200 countries and regions around the world.

BTS, which entered the Billboard main single chart "Hot 100" for the first time as a Korean singer with its English single "Dynamite" released on August 21 last year, has topped the Billboard main single chart for the 11th time so far. "Butter" was the most frequent with six episodes, three times "Dynamite," one remix version of "Savage Love," and one time "Life Goes On."

BTS tweeted, "Thank you for your endless love for the past 6 weeks of #BTS_Butter, who has been writing history with ARMY! "I purple you," she said. Big Hit Music also said, "Thank you very much for your steady interest and love for # BTS's music!"

BTS will release CDs containing "Butter" and Ed Sheeran's new song "Permission to Dance" on the 9th.
