BTS Tour, which has been suspended for more than a year, eventually canceled.

Group BTS (BTS) canceled the world tour "BTS Map of the Sol Tour," which had been temporarily suspended for more than a year due to coronavirus 19, and announced preparations for a new performance.

The agency Big Hit Music said on the 20th through the fan community Weverse that "We have made great efforts to resume the performance to meet your long wait, but it is difficult to resume the performance on the same scale and schedule as previously planned due to various force majeure changes."

"Map of the Sol Tour" is a stadium-sized world tour that BTS was planning to start after releasing its fourth regular album "Map of the Sol: 7" in February last year. Starting with Seoul in April last year, he planned to perform in 18 cities around the world, including the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany and Spain.

However, due to the spread of coronavirus 19, North American performances have been postponed and Seoul performances have been canceled. European and Japanese performances have been suspended ahead of ticket sales.

"We are even more sorry to inform you of the cancellation," Big Hit Music said. "We are preparing a new schedule and form of performance to repay your expectations."
