"It may seem obvious that life will continue, but I wanted to unravel the stern truth in BTS's own color."

On the 20th, a global press conference was held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Jung-gu, Seoul, where the new album "BE" (Deluxe Edition) will be released. One day without warning, it seems like the world suddenly stopped. Now that everyone feels helpless with the Corona 19 Pandemics, BTS has put it in its new album "BE," without embellishing the complex feelings of anxiety and fear and "we still have to overcome it." 'BE' which means '-Ida' or 'existent' is a word with an open meaning without specifying a form. BTS tells the story of the feelings and thoughts he feels and the 'we' that he has to live on.

In particular, this album actively participated in writing and composing the entire album, including planning, concept, and composition, setting the direction of the album by selecting the Project Manager (PM) for each category. It was completed through the collaboration of the members from start to finish, with no place BTS could not reach. In addition, they shared this album process with fans, adding to the feeling of being together.

"It's the first time I've shown you how I've been working on an album," RM said. "It's an album that I've shared with a lot of people. "If you look at the album, you'll realize how we worked on it." As for the reason for revealing the process of working on the album, RM said, "It's now an age of non-face-to-face," adding, "I thought the connection I had maintained through every performance was cut off, so I made an unusual attempt, but I hope you feel more connected."

The new album "BE," which has made unusual moves in many ways, actually started without a plan due to a sudden visit. RM said, "I can't really remember the transition to Corona." "I was thinking about what to do after finishing 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7' and we're just going to wait and see what kind of emotions are created and what's in danger, and this time we can't avoid a hectic situation. When I was trying to think about it, I got a pandemics," he recalled the beginning of the album.

Although the album starts out of the blue, BTS has made a number of changes to show where it has grown again. In particular, regarding the outstanding participation of the members, RM said, "Four of the seven songs (excluding the set) in the album were self-written by the members. "While we like the huge picture and narrative of BTS in the future, I thought it would be necessary to have a writer-like aspect of each emotion or narrative to maintain the team," he said. "I think we'll be more willing to do more voluntarily if 'BE' goes well."

As such, the new album reveals BTS's presence while adding a new perspective to BTS's story. "I think I enjoyed working on the album," Chin said. "I think it's time to look back on the present and me, maybe because I focused on the feelings that I'm feeling as well. I hope many people will sympathize with the honest story."

Showing a serious yet cheerful side, BTS tells the story of accepting the changed present and finding and imagining a new daily life based on universal consensus. "When we started working on the album, the keyword 'Life Goes On' came out as we talked about the topic. RM said, "No matter what happens to me, my life will continue, and I decided to talk about keeping my life in my daily life despite these changes."

Qin said, "I think I've had a flustered and empty year. I felt frustrated and sad, and I honestly put these feelings into this album. As we are in the same situation, we put our sympathy and consolation into it. However, there are not only depressing things, and there are some things that made this atmosphere exciting by reinterpreting it BTS way, so I hope you show a lot of love," he said. "The world seems to have stopped, but I hope you find something small and happy in your daily life as it continues."

"Life Goes On," the keyword for the album's work, was named the title of the album. Nevertheless, with Life Goes On, which means that our lives will continue, BTS throws a heavy yet warm message and puts its hand out to the future. In particular, the sincere lyrics, which anyone can relate to, will be accompanied by the heavy echo of BTS.

"It's a song that we've produced before 'Dynamite,' but it's actually the same root," RM said. "The music of BTS starts with the thought and the emotion of what we can talk about then. In the case of 'Dynamite,' if you want to get rid of the gloomy mood in the summer, 'Life Goes On' is heavy, but it gives you calm, gentle, and sincere comfort."

In addition, 'How to Travel My Room' by Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and V, 'Blue & Grey' by an emotional pop ballad genre centered on acoustic guitar sound, 'Skit' by listening to the announcement of No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 in the U.S., 'Jamsey' by retro pop disco based on funky rhythms, and 'Old School Hip Hop-Schooled' by Lee Ji-based song 'G.

Jin, who likened BE to a diary, replied, "In fact, it's not easy to share secrets with others, but I think it's a way for us to empathize with the music genre," and J-Hope agreed with this opinion and said, "I think there's energy from music." In that regard, I want to share our feelings and thoughts in music. I think that's the important point of music.

So, what will BTS tell us in the future? "We don't know what kind of music we want to do," RM said. Every time I release an album, I've been doing the theme of 'What should I talk about now,' and I think the music that I have to do and the music that will come out will change depending on the situation in the future."

Finally, Jimin said, "Many people are having a hard time without notice. This album tells the story that life will continue nonetheless. I also received a lot of comfort while preparing for the album. I hope the new album can comfort many people. As such, the new album "BE" will be released on various online music sites at 2 p.m. today (20th).
