"I'm recovering from COVID-19 negative and appendicitis surgery."

Jimin of the group BTS, who was confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 and even underwent acute appendicitis (cerebral inflammation) surgery, was discharged from the hospital on the 5th, his agency Big Hit Music said.

Big Hit Music said in a fan community Weverse notice earlier in the day, "Jimin did not show any special symptoms during his hospitalization," adding, "At the beginning of the hospitalization, he showed mild sore throat symptoms, but received medical staff's opinion that the surgical site was recovering stably."

"Jimin is currently resting and stabilizing after being discharged from the hospital," he added.

Jimin was diagnosed with COVID-19 and acute appendicitis on the 30th of last month and is hospitalized after surgery on the 31st, the next day. He was tested negative in a PCR (genetic amplification) test conducted before discharge.
