BTS(BTS)'s "Dynamite" broke the Korean record for Psy's "Gangnam Style" on the U.S. Billboard single chart "Hot 100." The Billboard Hot 100 chart, released on the 5th (local time), ranked 30th on "Dinamite." "Dinamite" has been on the chart for 32 weeks since it topped the "Hot 100" chart in August last year. Psy's "Gangnam Style" surpassed the 31-week record set in 2012 this week.

"Dinamite" has not been out of the 50th place since entering the "Hot 100." In particular, the number one Billboard single by an Asian singer was 57 years after Japan's Sagamoto Kyu's "Skiyaki" in 1963. At that time, "Dinamite" streamed 33.8 million times in the U.S. in the first week of its release, recording 300,000 digital and physical sales. There were 265,000 downloads of digital music.

"Gangnam Style" first entered the "Hot 100" in September 2012 at number 64 and rose to number 2 in October, maintaining it for seven consecutive weeks, before breaking the chart in March 2013.
