BTS and BLACKPINK are nominated for Time magazine's Person of the Year.

The nominees for "Person of the Year," which is selected and announced annually by Time Magazine, included idol groups BTS (BTS) and BLACKPINK.

Time is currently voting online on candidates for "Person of the Year," which includes BTS and Black Pink.

BTS is also enjoying high popularity on the U.S. pop stage, becoming the first Korean pop music singer to be nominated for the Grammy Awards, a U.S. music award.

BTS, nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 63rd Grammy Awards on January 31 next year, appeared remotely on CBS' talk show on the 24th and said, "Our efforts seem to be finally rewarded. It's the highest honor I've ever received," he said.

The four-member girl group BLACKPINK is gaining global popularity, with the music video for "DDU-DU DDU-DU" topping 1.4 billion views on YouTube for the first time as a K-pop group.

Black Pink has recently been on the rise in the U.S., raising the possibility of nominating a Grammy Award for the Rookie of the Year, but it has not been nominated.
