BTS to Top Billboard 'Artist 100' for 20th Time…Most records in a group

Reporter Kim Hyo-jung = BTS (BTS) topped the Billboard chart 'Artist 100' for the 20th time.

Billboard said on the 22nd that BTS has returned to number one on the Artist 100 chart, one notch higher than last week.

BTS's artists ranked 20th on the 100th chart, with only three of the best records starting in 2014: Taylor Swift (48th), Drake (32nd), and Weekend (22nd).

Artist 100 is a weekly chart that measures the influence of artists by comprehensively quantifying music and album sales, streaming, radio broadcasting scores, and social media activities.

Billboard attributed BTS's return to No. 1 ranking to continued promotion of singles such as "Butter" and "Permission to Dance."

Released in May, "Butter" topped Billboard's main singles chart "Hot 100" for a total of nine weeks and ranked eighth this week. "Permission to Dance," which has been No. 1 for a week since its release last month, is still No. 66 on the Hot 100 chart.

The main album chart, "Billboard 200," was also listed on two albums: the Japanese best album "BTS, the Best" (95th) and the fourth full-length album "Map of the Soul: 7" (121st).

Meanwhile, BTS plans to release a remix version of "Butter" with next-generation U.S. rapper Megan the Stallion at 1 p.m. on the 27th.
