"Most Nominations in Their Own" in four Billboard Music Awards.

The group BTS was nominated for four categories at the "Billboard Music Awards," one of the top three music awards in the United States. It is the most nomination in its own category at the awards ceremony since it was first nominated for "Top Social Artist," an online popularity award in 2017.

On the BMA's website on the 29th (local time), BTS was named "Top Duo/Group," "Top Selling Song," "Top Song Sales Artist" and "Top Social Artist." Among them, it is the first time that it has been nominated for 'Top Selling Song' and 'Top Song Sales Artist'. This is due to the popularity of "Dynamite," which topped Billboard's popular song chart for three weeks last year.

BTS was nominated for "Top Social Artist" for the fifth consecutive year and for the "Top Duo/Group" category for the third consecutive year. It has been awarded every year since 2017 for "Top Social Artist," and received an award in 2019 for "Top Duo/Group." In this year's Top Duo/Group category, BTS will compete with famous American rock group AC/DC, country duo Dan & Shay and pop band Maroon 5.

K-pop groups stood out in the "Top Social Artists" category.

Black Pink and Seventeen, including BTS, were nominated side by side. Three of the five candidates were K-pop groups. The winner of this category is determined by fan votes.

Drake, Juice World, Pop Smoke, Taylor Swift and Weekend were nominated for this year's artist-like "Top Artist." Weekend was nominated in 16 categories due to the popularity of "Blinding Rights." This year's awards ceremony will reflect Billboard chart results from March 21 last year to April 3 this year.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on April 23. It is broadcast live on NBC.

BTS will release its new song "Butter" on the 21st of next month, two days before the awards ceremony.
